Market Place Shopping - Burgess Hill

The public conveniences are located on the first floor, along with two disabled toilets and baby changing facilities. A 'Radar' key is available from the Centre Management for those requiring the use of the disabled toilets (Radar keys are also available free of charge from the town Council Help-Point). Lifts are accessible behind the staircase to reach the Market Place first floor.

Here at Market Place, we like to ensure the safety of our customers to make them feel welcome.

We operate a No Smoking policy within the whole premises, although cigarette bins are provided at each entrance for those who wish to smoke outside.

Dogs are not permitted in the centre, except for guide dogs, and roller boots, skateboards and street scooters are also prohibited.

CCTV is in operation at all times throughout the shopping centre and Centre Management is also part of a highly successful 'Shopwatch Scheme'. Many of Burgess Hill's retailers are now a part of this scheme, and via radio communication they are able to effectively deter shoplifting in the town centre.

The Car Park at Market Place operates 24 hours a day and charges apply between 6am and 6pm. You need to clear your chip coin at a pay machine even out of these hours. Replacement chip coins will be charged at the daily rate of £5.00.
