Condition of Entry

Here at the Market Place Shopping Centre, we aim to provide a safe, relaxed, and friendly environment to all our visitors. We would ask that you respect the Conditions of Entry detailed below, in the interests of everyone’s enjoyment and well-being.

To ensure the health and safety of our guests, we ask that visitors respect and show due consideration for the building, environment, and other users by observing the following rules within the shopping centre, external areas, and car parks:

1. Intimidating or threatening behavior of any kind towards other visitors, our staff or our retailers is not acceptable.
2. Any person found sitting or loitering for a considerable time and any group of more than five who appear without the intent to shop may be asked to leave.
3. No bikes, scooters, skateboards, or rollerblades
4. No smoking, E-cigarettes, or vaping
5. No bringing, selling, or taking any illegal substance, or drugs paraphernalia which would be reported to the Police in all cases.
6. No photography without permission from Centre Management.
7. No leafleting, canvassing, protesting, graffitiing, or conducting third party interviews or surveys without prior permission from Centre Management.
8. No misuse of any Centre facilities or equipment.
9. Clear access and fire routes must be maintained for an emergency.
10. Please use the centre welfare facilities respectfully. Be mindful that not every disability is visible.

Market Place Shopping Centre Management reserves the right to deny entry to / remove from the premises any individual or group whose actions we feel are inappropriate. Anyone who ignores the above rules or commits a crime will be denied entry for as long as the Shopping Centre Management deem fit. The centre is private property, as such persons can and will be banned for the purpose of the prevention of crime, anti-social behaviour to keep Market Place Shopping Centre a safe destination for staff and customers. We may at times share your personal information with third parties for crime prevention purposes.

Market Place Shopping Centre Management reserves the right to amend this Condition of Entry at any time without prior notice.
